About
The Italy Norway Dance Residencies program aims to strengthen the dialogue between the Norwegian and Italian choreographic scenes, create new pathways for international artistic collaboration, and explore how residencies can support artistic research. The program involves key partners such as Bærum Kulturhus, BIT – Bergen International Theatre, DansiT – Choreographic Center, Davvi – Centre for Performing Arts, Anghiari Dance Hub, L’arboreto – Teatro Dimora, Fabbrica Europa, and Fondazione I Teatri. The application deadline for 2027 residencies is June 1, 2026. Residencies in Italy will be at Fabrica Europa – Florence and Fondazione I Teatri/Reggio Emilia, while residencies in Norway will be at DansiT Choreographic Centre and Bærum Kulturhus – Dance Southeast-Norway. The application must be written in English, with one application per residency site. Applicants should describe their work intentions and attach a CV, relevant information, and visual material. The applications are assessed by a professional committee consisting of Norwegian and Italian partners.
