About
NAHR_Italy is offering several residency opportunities in 2026 under the theme "MINERALS: Our (in)organic Roots." The program includes a 2-week California Spring residency in April, a 4-week June residency in Italy, a 2-6 week Alternative Residency in July-September, and a 2-week California Fall residency in October. The June residency admits 5-7 multidisciplinary residents, including one student. The Alternative Residency accepts applications on a rolling basis until spaces are filled, with participants contributing a fee to operational costs. Applicants are encouraged to submit proposals that directly engage with the theme, nature, and human habitat, with priority given to those that can leave a mark on the Taleggio Valley or Santa Ynez territory. No additional funding is provided by NAHR, but letters of support for independent funding are available.
