About
Curiosa presents an intensive residential course for collaborative cross-arts practice in Northern Portugal, taking place from July 31 to August 11, 2026. The program is hosted at the Court of Cavalum, an 18th-century mansion near Porto. It brings together visual artists, musicians, and performers for twelve days of collaborative creation, including movement sessions, ensemble workshops, skill shares, field trips, creative briefs, and mentoring. Participants will co-create new works, culminating in a promenade performance. The residency is open to artists and musicians of all experience levels who are ready to experiment with cross-genre collaboration. The fee of ā¬1210 covers tuition, spaces, accommodation, and food, but not travel. Support is available for those applying for Culture Moves Europe funding, and there is one work exchange placement and one bursary for a local Portuguese artist.
