About
La Porte Peinte is an international arts center located in Noyers sur Serein, a medieval village in Burgundy, France. The center offers artists, makers, musicians, and writers the opportunity for creative exploration and exchange in an inspiring environment. The facility includes five comfortable bedrooms, four additional bedrooms in a nearby annex, and eight private studio spaces, along with workshop and event spaces. While most residencies are artist-funded, several fully and partially funded residencies are offered annually. The cost for a residency ranges from €2100 to €3000 per person per month, depending on the choice of bedroom, and includes utilities, accommodation, studio space, use of communal kitchen and laundry facilities, wireless internet, and printer. The residency length varies from two weeks to six months.
