About
The Bolsa Barreiro is a funded residency program developed by PADA Studios with financial support from Câmara Municipal do Barreiro. It offers three emerging local visual artists a 3-month residency alongside the International Residency program. This bursary aims to support recently graduated artists in their professional development, providing them with access to all studio facilities, including an individual studio. The residency fee is fully covered. The program culminates in an exhibition at PADA Gallery featuring the three artists. Applications for 2027 are open, with a deadline of June 29, 2026.
