About
The Salt Spring National Art Prize (SSNAP) is a biennial juried open competition focused on Canadian contemporary visual arts. Approximately fifty finalists are selected for the exhibition by an independent national jury. Artists are invited to submit work that exemplifies originality, quality, integrity, and creativity. The competition is open to all Canadian artists, and each entry requires a fee of $35. Submissions must be made online, and artists are encouraged to read the guidelines carefully before applying. The exhibition will showcase the selected works, and finalists will be announced in July 2027.
