About
The Banff Musicians In Residence program offers individual musicians and bands/ensembles dedicated time and space to research, create, and develop projects in a mountain environment. Participants receive mentorship from established faculty and have 24-hour access to personal music studios. The program is ideal for musicians, ensembles, bands, composers, and music researchers looking to create new works, prepare for performances, or explore innovative ideas. Scholarships are available, covering 100% of tuition for all arts participants, with additional support for meal plans and accommodation, and full coverage for Canadian Indigenous applicants.
