Silence Awareness Existence Thematic residency program in Finland, Winter 2027

The Silence Awareness Existence Thematic residency program in Finland offers a one-month residency during January, February, or March 2027 at the Arteles Creative Center. This international, transdisciplinary program welcomes creative individuals from diverse backgrounds, including artistic, scientific, contemplative, and existentialistic approaches. The program encourages creative contemplation, solitary introspection, and intensive work, with no pressure for a concrete productive outcome. Financial support of €680 is available for applicants who would otherwise be unable to join the program. The residency provides a private bedroom in a shared housing facility on campus, but no meals are provided. Applicants must be at least 23 years old and can be at any career stage.
