Eligibility
Open to distinguished and highly motivated international curators in curation, art criticism, and cultural research. Applicants must not be students at the time of participation and have 3 or more years of experience in their specialized area. No age limit. Previous participants of the Curator Residency Program are not eligible to apply for the same program again. Duo applications are not possible.

About
The Curator Residency Program 2027, organized by Tokyo Arts and Space (TOKAS), invites international curators, art critics, and cultural researchers to conduct research in Tokyo for 1 to 3 months. The program provides airfare, a fee for research/project, and a single room living space. Selected curators are required to mentor local emerging creators and deliver a public talk. Applicants must have at least three years of professional experience and not be students during the residency. There is no age limit, but previous participants of this specific program are ineligible. Duo applications are not accepted.
