About
The OASis Lisbon Artistic Residencies programme, organized by Gerador in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut in Lisbon, is part of the OASis — Open Art Spaces in Synergy project. This program aims to strengthen the relationship between the Goethe-Institut in Lisbon and the local community, especially people aged over 50. Selected authors will receive a €1,300 fee, up to €400 for materials and production, and up to €300 for travel support. Accommodation and all meals in Lisbon are provided during the 7-day residency, along with a 25m² workspace. Participants are invited to choose one of three intervention areas within the Goethe-Institut building for their work. The residencies require interaction with the local community and will culminate in an artistic showcase at the Goethe-Institut, with a potential selection for an overall exhibition in Brussels in 2027. Projects must be original and previously unpublished, and should not be performative or audiovisual.
