- Who can apply to Literary Journalism: Memoir 2026?
- Open to experienced professionals (mid-career, established) active in creative non-fiction and/or journalism, including print or electronic media, based anywhere in the world. Applicants should be non-fiction writers, journalists, freelance critics or curators, artists, and academics who can write for a lay audience with passion, vigor, and charm, and have a portfolio to prove it. The program is run in English and only accepts projects written in English.
- What does Literary Journalism: Memoir 2026 offer?
- Scholarships available covering 100% of tuition and 50% of meal plan and accommodation costs (Banff Centre Arts Scholarship), or 100% of tuition, meal plan, and accommodation costs for Canadian Indigenous applicants. Food stipend provided, single room, small private studio.

- Application fee: $65 CAD for individuals, $35 CAD for Indigenous applicants.
