About
The Future Generation Art Prize is a biannual global contemporary art prize established by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation in 2009. It aims to discover, recognize, and provide long-term support to a future generation of artists. Artists aged 35 or younger, working in any medium, are eligible to apply. A selection committee nominates 20 artists for the shortlist, who are then commissioned to create new works for an exhibition at the PinchukArtCentre in Kyiv. The main prize winner receives US$100,000, comprising a US$60,000 cash prize and a US$40,000 investment in their practice. Additionally, up to five special prize winners share US$20,000 to support their artistic development. The prize is recognized as a significant springboard for emerging talent, offering global visibility and sustained artistic development.
