Artist Residency – Works & Process Residencies 2026 ($9,800 Artist Fees)

Works & Process invites New York City-based dance artists and dance companies to apply for week-long, out-of-town artist residencies taking place between October 2026 and May 2027. The program supports the development of new or existing work through focused rehearsal time, artist fees, and production resources. Each residency is structured around a one-week period dedicated to creative development, culminating in an open rehearsal or showing for a local audience. Residencies are awarded through an open call process and are part of a larger network of partner venues. Artists are provided with time, space, and resources to advance their work, with each residency concluding in an open rehearsal or informal showing for the local community.
