About
The WIELS Residency Programme offers 6–12 month residencies in Brussels, providing artists with studios within the contemporary art center. Residents are placed alongside major international exhibitions, benefiting from Brussels' multilingual and multicultural environment. The program includes a living allowance and a production budget. This opportunity allows artists to engage with the artistic and cultural life of Brussels, fostering professional feedback and interaction with the international contemporary art scene. The residency aims to help artists develop their work and professional practices through participation in artistic activities, theoretical debates, weekly discussions with mentors, and public presentations.
