Wassaic Project 2027 Residency Open Call

The Wassaic Project is accepting proposals for its 2027 Residency program, which includes both Winter (Jan – April 2027) and Summer (June – September 2027) sessions. This call is open to individual artists, collaborative teams, and those applying through the Family Residency program. The residency provides semi-private studio space, a private room in a shared house, and access to various facilities like a wood shop, print shop, and kiln. Residents also benefit from staff support and programming such as visiting artist talks and studio visits. The program aims to foster a community for emerging and professional contemporary artists, writers, curators, filmmakers, and other creatives, encouraging them to produce, explore, and expand their art-making practices within a community-based arts organization.
