About
The Ucross artist residency program offers uninterrupted time and space for artists on a 20,000-acre ranch in the foothills of the Bighorn Mountains of northern Wyoming. The program provides a respectful, comfortable, and productive environment, freeing artists from daily pressures and distractions. Residents receive living accommodations, meals prepared by a professional chef, and private work space. A $1,500 stipend is provided to help with travel costs, and there is no residency charge. The program is open to artists of all backgrounds and disciplines, including visual artists, writers, composers, choreographers, dancers, interdisciplinary artists, and performance artists, as well as collaborative teams, who exhibit professional standing in their field.
