About
The Peter Bullough Foundation offers intimate, focused residencies for artists and writers from diverse backgrounds, with a particular focus on elevating voices and topics relevant to the LGBTQIA2S+ community. Each awarded residency is 4 weeks long, shared with two other artists, fostering a close-knit community. Residents receive a $600 stipend, a food stipend, private housing, and studio space. Artists are required to engage with the local community by hosting a workshop, lecture, or event. The foundation accepts applications from artists and writers working in visual arts, literature, film/video arts, interdisciplinary arts, music, music composition, playwriting, screenwriting, poetry, theatre, and architecture.
