- Who can apply to Soundweavings 2027?
- Open to national and international individual musicians and ensembles, including post-secondary students, early- and mid-career artists with advanced artistic accomplishment. Applicants should have a demonstrated record of musical exploration, performance, or creation on traditional global music instruments and/or Western classical instruments. Participants must be 18+ and available for the entire program duration.
- What does Soundweavings 2027 offer?
- Banff Centre Arts Scholarship covering 100% of tuition and 25% of meal plan and accommodation costs; Canadian Indigenous Scholarship covering 100% of tuition, meal plan, and accommodation costs; recordings of public performances; limited demo recording sessions; 24-hour studio access.
