About
Studio 88 Artist Residency is accepting applications for the SoulScapes Artist Residency Programme 2026, themed "Transition & Transformation." This immersive residency, running from July 1 to August 25, 2026 (4β8 weeks), is dedicated to healing, care, and creative transformation, focusing on moments of change and quiet rebirth. The program values process over outcome, slowness over urgency, and presence over production, welcoming exploratory and unfinished artistic inquiries grounded in lived experience. Participants will find a peaceful environment for self-directed artistic and therapeutic practice, opportunities for collaboration and workshops, access to natural spaces, and a platform to share their work. Residents are expected to engage in individual or collaborative healing/artistic practice, share an element of their work, and actively participate in communal aspects. There is no application fee, but selected artists are required to pay a residency fee covering accommodation, studio space, and program facilitation. Applicants should submit a CV, artist statement, a proposal (max 500 words) outlining their practice and residency goals, a portfolio, and preferred residency duration by May 15, 2026. Selected artists will be notified by the end of May 2026.
