About
M-Cult is offering a residency for Nordic-Baltic artists during spring 2027, focusing on non-linear technologies and sonic worldings. This two-month program provides research, mentoring, and dialogue with the Finnish media art and sonic art scene, hosted by M-Cult and Arte artists’ association/Titanik gallery. Artists are invited to explore vernacular and non-linear technological and sonic environments, shifting focus from "progress" narratives to local, indigenous, and community-oriented perspectives. The residency includes accommodation, travel, studio and desk space, an artist fee, production budget, mentoring, networking, and public presentation opportunities.
