R.A.R.O. BARCELONA | Summer Residency 2026

R.A.R.O. Barcelona announces its Summer Residency 2026, offering artists a space for experimentation, dialogue, and artistic creation at Casa R.A.R.O. in the heart of Barcelona. The program invites artists of all nationalities to develop their projects and research processes in an environment that fosters collaboration and contemporary thinking. Residency options are available for June (1-26), July (6-31), and August (3-28, or August 31-September 25), with durations ranging from 3 weeks to 2 months. Casa R.A.R.O. provides a multidisciplinary studio/workspace of over 300 m2, suitable for various techniques including painting, drawing, collage, performance, and video art. While accommodation is not provided, assistance is offered to help residents find affordable artist-minded housing. The basic fee for a 4-week residency is €750. Residents are expected to present their work in an Open Studio format at the conclusion of their stay. The application deadline is May 17, 2026.
