Participants enroll in two courses per block, totaling four courses and 12-14 U.S. semester/18-21 quarter credits, choosing from CIEE courses or ASU online courses. The program includes co-curricular and extracurricular activities such as exploring historic landmarks, sampling local cuisine, attending flamenco shows, and participating in citywide celebrations. Students can also enhance their program with an optional for-credit internship and engage in community impact initiatives. The program provides 24/7 emergency on-site support.
