About
The Prisma Art Prize, now in its 19th edition, is an international platform dedicated to painting and two-dimensional works, welcoming artists worldwide. The prize celebrates diverse approaches to painting, from traditional to experimental, with a focus on strong visual research. Annual awards include €2000 in cash prizes distributed across four quarterly calls, a group exhibition at Contemporary Cluster in Rome in late 2026, and opportunities for solo shows through the Isorrophia Gallery Prize and Pallavicini–Dettori Prize. Additionally, artists can win residencies at Dar Meso (Tunis), Casacon (Sirolo, Italy), and the Osservatoriomaree Residency Prize. The prize also offers catalogue publication, interviews, and other partner prizes. The submission period for the 19th edition opened on February 6, 2026, and closes on May 10, 2026. Winners will be announced in May 2026, exhibition selections in September 2026, and annual prizes in September 2026. The entry fee is €34 for 1–3 artworks, with an additional €5 for each artwork up to a maximum of 8. Payments can be made via PayPal, credit card, or bank transfer. The prize is curated by Domenico De Chirico, with artistic direction by Marco Crispano, and produced by Il Varco Creative Hub.
