The Center for Contemporary Printmaking (CCP) offers solo Artists-in-Residence the opportunity to live and work in the Helen Frankenthaler Printmaking Cottage. This residency provides 1-2 weeks of uninterrupted time in a well-equipped studio with onsite living accommodations, fostering creative growth and development in traditional and innovative printmaking techniques. Artists are encouraged to experiment, explore new mediums, and advance their printmaking skills. Residents will have the opportunity to conduct a studio talk or workshop for the Norwalk community. The program is open to mid-career and established artists from anywhere in the world. The residency costs include a cottage stay fee of $1500 for one week and $1000 for each additional week, plus a $20/day production fee. CCP offers funding support, matching 50% of residency costs up to $2,500, and underwriting up to $5,000 for artists who may not have other funding. The application fee is $35.
