About
The Pragovka Gallery Open Call 2027 invites artists and curators to submit proposals for both exhibition projects and residency projects under the thematic framework “Flashes of Humanity.” This open call explores the evolving meaning of humanity in contemporary society, encouraging reflection on human experience in relation to technology, environment, and non-human entities. The theme is open-ended, allowing for diverse interpretations across media, formats, and conceptual approaches. Selected projects will be part of Pragovka Gallery’s 2027 program. For exhibition projects, the gallery provides coverage for transport, installation, accommodation, travel (upon agreement), PR, production, documentation, printing, graphic design, and artist fees. For residency projects, the gallery offers studio space, accommodation, travel (upon agreement), artist fee, material cost contribution, and PR. The outcome of the residency is not an exhibition at Pragovka Gallery but may take the form of an Open Studio, lecture, or site-specific intervention. Applications require a detailed project description with visual documentation and a portfolio with a short bio. The deadline for applications is May 17, 2026.
