About
RedSapata Kunst-, Kultur- und Tanzinitiative is hosting an open call for residencies in 2027, seeking innovative, multidisciplinary projects. The residency focuses on themes of intersectional and queer feminism in relation to dance, art, and creative processes, but also welcomes proposals related to nature, society, politics, and the body. Selected artists will receive a supportive working environment, including studio space and optional accommodations for up to four artists at a time. The program encourages artistic proposals that address urgent socio-political questions, challenge the status quo, and make invisible positions visible, examining identity, power, and representation across various categories. Projects from artistic queer individuals that push boundaries and question norms through performance and visual arts are also encouraged. Applications should include a detailed residency proposal (max. 3 pages) outlining the concept, methodology, artist names, and video links if available, along with a short bio/CV (max. 1 page per artist).
