OPEN CALL FOR ARTISTS-IN-RESIDENCE, 2026–2027

KUNSTRAUM LLC is accepting submissions for its 2026 & 2027 Artist-in-Residence (AIR) Program. This program offers three-month residencies for national and international artists, organized on a quarterly cycle. For 2026, limited availability remains for July–September and October–December, with applications reviewed on a rolling basis. Applications for all 2027 cycles (January-March, April-June, July-September, and October-December) are also open, with a deadline of June 30, 2026. The residency fee is $800 per month. Each residency includes a desk-sized studio in partitioned lofts with 24/7 access (no living), access to the gallery space and participation in the annual Members Show, monthly studio visits by curators and gallerists, and community events. The studios are meant for work with non-toxic materials only. Applicants must submit a statement of motivation, a statement on private or public funding plan, a description of a 3-month project, a portfolio with up to 10 pages/20 images, a CV, and links to website/social media. KUNSTRAUM is an artist-led gallery and residency program in New York City dedicated to artistic production, collaboration, and exchange.
