About
Pragovka Gallery announces an open call for authorial and exhibition projects, as well as residency projects, for its 2027 program under the theme “Flashes of Humanity.” This theme invites exploration of what it means to be human today, considering fragility, ambivalence, and everydayness, and how humanity relates to animals, technologies, and the environment. The call is open to both Czech and international artists and curators. For exhibition projects, the gallery covers transport, installation, accommodation and travel (upon agreement), PR, production, documentation, printing, graphic design, and artist fees. For residency projects, the gallery provides studio space, accommodation and travel (upon agreement), an artist fee, and a contribution towards material costs. Residency outcomes may include Open Studios, lectures, or site-specific interventions, not necessarily an exhibition at the gallery. Applications require a detailed project description with visual documentation, a portfolio, and a short bio. The deadline for applications is May 17, 2026, at 11:59 PM.
