Nordic-Baltic Open Call: Residing Non-linear Technologies and Sonic Worldings

M-Cult and Arte artists’ association/Titanik gallery are hosting a two-month residency for Nordic-Baltic artists. The program offers research, mentoring, and dialogue within the Finnish media art and sonic art scene. Artists are invited to explore vernacular and non-linear technological and sonic environments, focusing on local, indigenous, and community-oriented perspectives rather than "progress" narratives of big tech. The residency includes accommodation, travel costs, studio and desk space, an artist fee, a production budget, mentoring, networking, and opportunities for public presentations.
