Microgrants

Backslash offers $500 microgrants to support student artists and engineers at Cornell University who are pushing the limits of technology in their practice or creatively hacking on the latest tech. The microgrants are intended to help cover materials and other project expenses. Applications are accepted and awarded on a rolling basis throughout the school year, with notification typically within two weeks of submission. The program encourages original and unconventional projects, and students may apply multiple times for different projects. Recipients are required to provide progress check-ins and final project documentation.
