About
This nature art residency on Thassos island, Greece, is designed for artists deeply moved and inspired by nature. Participants will have space to practice their art and learn about the natural environment. The program includes weekly guided beach and art days, group creative brainstorms, and opportunities for art in the outdoors. Residents stay in a traditional Greek house in a mountain village, surrounded by forest and ancient civilizations. The host, Leah Heming, provides tailored creative support, island tours, and insights into local history, fauna, and flora. The residency is 3 weeks long and includes accommodation, weekly guided excursions, and regular hikes. Artists are encouraged to seek external funding.
