About
The Hopper Prize is now accepting entries for its 2026 artist grants. For this open call, grant amounts of $4,500 (2 available) and $1,000 (4 available) are offered to artists working in all media and photographers worldwide. The deadline for submissions is May 12, 2026. The open call provides a direct path to get work in front of an international community of curators, artists, gallerists, and arts administrators. Grant winners and finalists will join an international roster of past recipients who have gone on to exhibit their work at major galleries, museums, arts fairs, and biennials. The Hopper Prize is open to all artists aged 18 and older working in any media, with no restrictions on genre, subject matter, or media. International artists are eligible to apply. Grant awards are unrestricted and may be used any way the recipients choose. Additionally, 30 artists will have their work archived at hopperprize.org, and a selection will be featured on their Instagram feed. Grant recipients and shortlisted artists will also receive the opportunity to publish an interview.
