Barcelona Open Call Summer 2026

ILLAPSE, the artist residency program of Lapse, offers a workspace in Barcelona for artists and contemporary art professionals to develop their practice. The program encourages public presentations of work and welcomes proposals across a wide range of media and contemporary artistic practices, with a particular interest in interdisciplinary experimentation. The residency duration can be 1, 2, or 3 months, with options available from June 15th to September 15th, 2026. The residency has a monthly cost of €500, to be covered by the resident. While accommodation is not included, a housing option in the center of Barcelona can be recommended.
