About
The Les Vendémiaires association is launching a call for applications for a 2027 artist residency at Maison d’Emma. Active for nearly 40 years in promoting contemporary art in rural areas, the association provides professional artists with a creative residency to carry out a project of their choice. Located at the foot of Pic Saint-Loup in the east of Hérault, Maison d’Emma offers a setting conducive to creation, serving as both a studio and exhibition space. The residency can accommodate the artist and one accompanying person. In addition to a stipend, the association offers to finance one or two interventions during the artist's stay, such as school mediations, public workshops, or a conference at the Media Library. The duration of the stay can vary from one to two months, to be determined in consultation with each artist.
