The Art-in-Education (AIE) Workspace Residency at Women's Studio Workshop is for artists who want to work with local school students while developing their own art. This opportunity is open to artists with varying teaching experience, from seasoned educators to those looking to gain skills. Resident artists must be proficient in teaching intaglio, silkscreen, or hand papermaking. The award includes a stipend of $175 per teaching day, an additional $525 for planning and prep time, housing, 24/7 access to the silkscreen studio, and a teaching assistant. Artists are responsible for their travel and materials costs. The residency offers both spring (five-week) and fall (six-week) programs.
