The Shiro Oni Studio Artist in Residence Program offers artists a focused environment away from urban distractions in Onishi, Japan. Each residency period hosts groups of 9 artists for 6 weeks, culminating in a group exhibition. The studio covers a private bedroom, utilities, 24/7 access to private studio space, woodshop, and ceramic facilities, translation support, bicycles, and exhibition/flyer printing. Spring and Fall groups are dedicated to clay artists, while Early Summer and Later Summer groups welcome artists of all disciplines. The program is open to artists based anywhere in the world.
