2027 AnkhLave Garden Project Fellowship at Wave Hill

Wave Hill, in partnership with AnkhLave Arts Alliance, invites NYC-based BIPOC artists to apply for the 9th Annual AnkhLave Garden Project Fellowship. This fellowship supports artists who use diverse forms of research and knowledge to present site-responsive sculpture and installation, engaging with Wave Hill’s plant collections, history, design, architecture, and location in the Bronx. Six artists will be selected, participating in the Winter Workspace residency program from February 23 – April 18, 2027. Four artists will receive an artist stipend of $1,800 and exhibit work in the Garden, while two Van Lier Fellows (age 30 and under) will receive an $8,000 honorarium and present solo exhibitions in the Wave Hill Sunroom Project Space. The program also includes professional development, artist community activities, and alumni network benefits.
