About
The OBEL Teaching Fellowship, now in its fourth edition, offers up to €75,000 to prospective fellows globally who apply in partnership with a host institution. The fellowship supports the exploration, development, and dissemination of knowledge on the critical theme of "Systems’ Hack" within the built environment. Selected courses are anticipated to commence in 2027 and will focus on how architecture can critically engage with and transform underlying societal systems. This initiative aims to introduce new voices into academia and develop impactful courses that examine the role of architects in reconfiguring entrenched structures.
