The Nancy Ingersoll Foster Artist Residency Program, presented by the Elizabeth Lane Oliver Center for the Arts, is a two-week working retreat for visual artists. It provides a peaceful environment in northwest Michigan for artists to focus on a special project. The residency includes private lodging and studio access at the Parsons Center for Arts and Sciences, with exhibits and workshops held at the Oliver Art Center. Residents receive an honorarium and the opportunity to exhibit their work, along with staff support and promotion. In return, residents are expected to provide an educational workshop, demo, or lecture, share promotional material, and donate a small work to the center.
