## Description

Annually, ten work grants for visual arts are awarded by the Behörde für Medien und Kultur Hamburg for the duration of one calendar year. The grant primarily targets artists at the beginning of their professional careers, enabling them to dedicate themselves to their artistic work with less financial pressure and to network. The work grant provides a monthly stipend of €1,500. At the end of the grant year, a joint exhibition of the grantees will be held at Kunsthaus Hamburg, and a publication will be released.
