## Description

The City of Hamburg offers work grants for fine arts, established in 1981, to support young artists in focusing on their art and networking with other artists. The grant provides €1,500 per month for one year. At the end of the grant period, there will be an exhibition at Kunst-Haus Hamburg featuring the work of the selected artists, accompanied by a text about the exhibition. The grants are managed by the Department for Culture and Media, with an independent jury selecting the artists. Applicants must reside and work in Hamburg and have a background in fine arts.
