## Description

The Virtual Reality Storytelling Fundamentals program at Banff Centre for Arts & Creativity is an intensive two-week program for artists and creative practitioners interested in storytelling, performance, design, interactive media, and related disciplines. Participants will learn core concepts, tools, and workflows of immersive narrative design in virtual reality, including spatial storytelling, writing and directing for 360° environments, and spatial audio. The program culminates in the creation of prototype VR experiences. Scholarships are available, with the Banff Centre Arts Scholarship covering 100% of tuition and 25% of meal and accommodation costs, and a Canadian Indigenous Scholarship covering all costs. Applicants must be 18+ and able to secure a Visitor Visa for Canada.
