## Description

Art at a Time Like This presents an open call for "Take One Action," a public art project and virtual exhibition. Artists are invited to submit powerful political messaging suggesting actions for everyday people to protect democracy. Selected works will be featured in an online exhibition and publicized on social media leading up to the midterm elections. Two artists from the open call will also be chosen to participate in a public art project in NYC in September and October 2026, featuring wheatpaste posters, mobile trucks, and other signage, alongside established artists.
