## Description

Stove Works’ Artist Residency invites eight artists to live and work for one to three months from February through November each year. The residency provides a private studio/bedroom and bathroom, shared kitchen, living space, and laundry, along with 24-hour access to facilities including a metal shop, woodshop, print shop, and common shop space. Five studios accommodate object-based practices, while two are for non-object-based practices like writing, curating, and academics. The residency is free to attend once accepted, but residents are responsible for travel, materials, and food. A tiered application fee applies, ranging from $10 to $30, and a $100 security deposit and $20 studio cleaning fee are required upon acceptance. Residents are also asked to donate an inscribed book to the library.
