## Description

The RostockStipendium offers artists a two to four-month residency in the historic center of Rostock, Germany. Participants receive a €1,500 monthly stipend and a free apartment-studio at Schleswig-Holstein-Haus, equipped with workrooms and a kitchen. The program is open to artists in various disciplines, including painting, graphic art, sculpture, photography, illustration, performance, and video art. Artists with children and creative collectives are encouraged to apply, though the stipend is not increased for groups. Applicants must propose a project related to Rostock or the state of Mecklenburg–Western Pomerania. Students are not eligible.
