## Description

The Kunsthalle Rostock, in collaboration with Kulturstiftung Rostock e.V. and the Hanseatic and University City of Rostock, is awarding the Rostocker Kunstpreis for the 20th time in 2026. This year, the prize focuses on painting. The award includes a €10,000 prize and an honorarium for the setup and dismantling of an exhibition at Kunsthalle Rostock. Artists whose biography or work has a connection to Mecklenburg-Vorpommern are eligible to apply.
