## Description

ACENTRICSPACE® offers an artist-in-residence program in Zhujiajiao, Shanghai, encouraging young artists to continue their practice and assisting established artists in finding new inspiration. The program provides ideal living, creative, and exhibition spaces, with applications open year-round. Artists are encouraged to create new works and engage with local and international artists. The facility includes private studios, shared workspaces, exhibition areas, a cafe/kitchen, laundry, and private bedrooms, all within the same building. Various tools and equipment are available for resident artists, including easels, cameras, lighting gear, projectors, an electric kiln, and power tools. At the end of each residency, ACENTRICSPACE curates an exhibition for the resident artists, with group shows for 1-2 month stays and solo exhibitions for 3-month stays. The residency is located in the historic Zhujiajiao water town, known for its vibrant art community.
