## Description

NBTA, in partnership with the Institut Français du Maroc, is launching an open call for two artists, one based in France and the other in Tangier, Morocco, for a three-week sound co-creation residency in Tangier from September 7 to 27, 2026. The residency is designed as a space for research, listening, and experimentation, bringing together the two invited artists to develop a dynamic of co-creation, encounter, and exchange around sound. A public presentation of the work in progress will take place in Tangier as part of the Être Ici festival. The residency aims to foster artistic and human connection, encourage collaborative practices, support original creation rooted in sensitive research, explore ecological and territorial issues, and create opportunities for public engagement. Artists will receive curatorial support from the NBTA team, research assistance, and a conducive environment for experimentation and immersion.
