## Description

The Situated Creative Practices for the Pluriverse (SIT-PLU) project is a Creative Europe Cooperation initiative addressing socio-ecological challenges through cross-disciplinary research and artistic interventions. The project includes a residency program (SIT-RES) for 2026 and 2027, inviting artists and creative practitioners to engage with specific social, geographical, and historical contexts for one year. Residents will develop new forms of creative intervention or cultural mediation, focusing on approaches that leave a distinctive mark on the territory, whether through physical intervention, formed relationships, or catalysts for ongoing community engagement. The program is particularly interested in methods that involve new audiences and foster a culture of diversity and discursive exchange. Selected residents will receive an artist fee of €13,500 (travel excluded) and a production budget. The application process is structured in two phases, with the first phase requiring a motivation letter, CV, portfolio, and a draft proposal focused on one of the hosting institutions. The residency period for 2027 begins in January.
