## Description

C.R.E.A.T.E. (Costa Rica Eco Artist Tribe Experience) invites artists to a residency blending art, sustainability, wellness, and adventure in a retreat setting. Located in a luxurious Spanish-style villa near Parrita, Costa Rica, the program offers artists a chance to focus on their work amidst mountains, jungle, and natural beauty. The stay includes nourishing meals, airport transportation, weekly excursions, studio space, and community connection. Optional programming includes participation in an Open Air Art Walk, mural projects, teaching art workshops at a local elementary school, and joining a monthly artisan market to exhibit and sell work. Two artist grants are available for the month of October, one for an emerging artist in financial need and another for an eco/sustainability-focused artist, with photographers being the focus for 2026.
